Key Responsibilities Permit Management - Prepare and submit permit applications to local municipalities and building departments. - Request documentation required for permits from sales team and follow up to ensure timely submittals. - Track permit status and follow up to ensure timely approvals. Follow up with towns as needed. - Track timing from permit submission to permit issuance by town. - Schedule and coordinate inspections with customers and inspectors. - Maintain accurate records of all permits and inspections. - Close out permits in a timely fashion upon project completion and upon timely receipt of final payment. Load Calculations - Verify data from sales team is accurate to move forward with heat loss calculation (e.g. floor plan, insulation, windows, etc.) - Perform accurate residential HVAC load calculations using Manual J approved RHVAC software. - When required, perform Manual S & D in RHVAC software. - Ensure system sizing and design align with code requirements and company standards. - Collaborate with the installation and sales teams to provide technical support. Rebate Documentation & Submission - Prepare rebate documents as required for the utility rebate program. - Request documentation required for rebate from sales team and follow up to ensure timely submittals. - Complete and submit rebate paperwork accurately and on time through utility company intake portal. - Track rebate application statuses and resolve issues or deficiencies as needed. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rebate programs, eligibility requirements, and incentive changes. Administrative & Coordination Tasks - Work closely with install coordinators, sales, and project managers to ensure smooth job flow. - Keep customers informed of permit and rebate status. - Maintain Service titan schedule for installation teams.
