Job Description The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supports dynamic business area(s) by providing HR expertise, professional advice, and coaching to managers and employees. The HRBP plays a key role in delivering people-focused initiatives that align with business goals, partnering closely with our global Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Organizational & Talent Development, Total Rewards and HR Technology, etc.) to facilitate and support organizational change. The HRBP is a hands-on, high-impact processional who brings strong business sense, a proactive attitude, and natural curiosity about how the business operates. HRBPs are instrumental in driving performance, culture, and engagement by balancing business needs with employee experience and a successful HRBP exemplifies our core values of caring, kindness, teamwork, and excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel. Serve as a strategic partner to employees and managers by aligning HR initiatives with strategic objectives of the business and organization and fostering a strong employee experience. Coach managers and employees on day-to-day topics while addressing employee relations matters in partnership with VP of Employee Relations and maintaining compliance with employment laws. Support core HR programs and cycles, including performance management, compensation reviews, goal setting, talent reviews, development planning, promotions, and engagement initiatives. Understand HR data metrics (e.g., headcount, compensation, attrition, job levels) to inform decision-making and drive performance, productivity, and capability improvements. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver programs that enhance employee experience and support talent attraction and retention. Contribute to organizational design and change management efforts, bringing foundational knowledge of talent management and OD principles. Partner with HR leadership on initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including mobility, immigration, organizational changes, and engagement strategies. Identify and implement practical process improvements and systems that enable scale and efficiency. Prioritize and handle multiple projects independently, while maintaining strong relationships across teams and regions. Act as a trusted advisor with a pulse on employee sentiment, effectively balancing speed and flexibility with sound HR infrastructure. Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, conduct investigations, and foster a positive workplace culture. Qualifications: Strong business acumen and a natural curiosity about how a business operates Excellent written and verbal communication, including high-quality document preparation, and presentation skills desirable Agile, flexible, proactive and problem-solving approach Ability to prioritize workload and meet critical deadlines Ability to initiate/develop processes and procedures Team player with strong collaboration skills Basic project management skills Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office and other HR technologies i.e. Workday, preferred Self-starter – able to work proactively and independently while also knowing when to escalate/seek support and advice Absolute confidentiality and integrity Ability to build strong relationships, influence, work as a change agent Minimum Requirements: 5+ years experience in HR including in an HR Generalist capacity Experience providing HR Business Partnering across diverse geographical footprints Preferred Attributes: Post secondary education desired i.e. university, college, certificate/diploma in HR, etc. HR professional certification or designation completed or in progress is an asset (PHR, CIPD) Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, including: Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.
