Join our fast-paced and supportive HR team serving over 100 Dunkin’ locations across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont! We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and approachable HR Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations and assist with employee-facing tasks that help keep our workplace running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in HR, great administrative skills, and a desire to grow within the field.

You’ll work onsite full-time in our North Reading, MA office, with occasional visits to stores to support onboarding, training logistics, or other HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate employee records, files, and databases across all franchise locations.
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, background checks, and system setup.
  • Support leave of absence documentation, unemployment claims, and other employee status changes.
  • Prepare and send HR communications, policy updates, and reminders to store teams.
  • Track training completions, performance documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Respond to basic employee and manager HR questions, escalating issues to senior HR team members as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate employee trainings and HR-related events.
  • Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and HR data tracking for internal use.
  • Help maintain consistency in policy application and HR process documentation.
  • Occasionally travel to stores to provide administrative support for onboarding or trainings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in an HR assistant, coordinator, or admin role (retail or food service industry a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems (experience with HRIS or ATS a plus).
  • Discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and store-level staff.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to stores in the region for HR support activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
