  • TRISTAR is seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to join our team. This individual will serve as the HR Division Admin Support, performing essential administrative tasks in support of the Human Resources Director and Division Leadership Team. The HR Specialist will also support the Division Quality Focal Point, acting as the primary point-of-contact for Crane Management System-related matters, including representing the HR Division on the Command’s CMS Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and technical support to develop, prepare and maintain reports for use with various programs and projects.
  • Provide support process documentation, meeting facilitation (including agenda creation, preparing/displaying meeting briefing materials, meeting notes, and tracking action items), metrics reporting, recordkeeping, and coordination across various organizations including those external to Crane, and updating appropriate business systems.
  • Support strategic planning, workforce shaping, data gathering, special projects, and quality meetings.
  • Administrative duties such as scan, copy, gather, summarize, review, and analyze documents, and develop forms and correspondence adhering to the Navy Correspondence Manual and other formats, as required.
  • coordinate HR personnel office and equipment move requests with the appropriate Corporate Operations Department personnel.
  • Receive and gather supply requests and send to the acquisition point of contact.
  • Support process improvement teams and special projects.
  • Provide support in configuring room requirements and/or prepare the order of class supplies/materials.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.
  • Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (T3) security investigation.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant administrative and/or quality assurance experience, preferably in a government, military, or defense contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership with administrative, technical, and logistical tasks.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, including document control, audits, and compliance tracking.
  • Ability to become a certified Quality Focal Point (QFP) within 18 months of hire, including completion of, QFP Training, Lead Auditor Training, Root Cause Analysis Training, CAMS User Training.

Education

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Organizational Management, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Public Administration, Quality Management, or Business.
