Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time using Gusto and Wise(for international contractors) .
- Assist with recruiting: post jobs, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and maintain candidate records.
- Prepare and manage new hire documents and onboarding schedules.
- Support performance review cycles and maintain employee performance data.
- Handle benefit enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Maintain and update employee records, handbooks, and HRIS systems.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Respond to employee inquiries and support issue resolution in a professional, confidential manner.
Administrative & Executive Support (40%)
- Strategically manage CEO calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel.
- Draft internal communications, emails, and executive reports as needed.
- Prepare meeting materials and track follow-ups on assigned projects.
- Support the planning and execution of team-building events, leadership offsites, and company celebrations.
- Provide administrative support on special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and confidential matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or administrative HR capacity.
- Proficiency in Gusto, Google Workspace, and office productivity tools.
- Understanding of HR laws, recruitment best practices, and benefits administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Exceptionally organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- A polished, professional demeanor and a “no task too big or too small” mindset.
- Startup or high-growth company experience is a plus.

Salary
$70,000 - $85,000 per year
