About
Hello, I’m running a steady-state thermal model in ANSYS Mechanical with an orthotropic material and a square heat source under specified boundary conditions. The baseline case works, but I now need to rotate the material axes in-plane to steer the heat flow—specifically 30° and 60°. Could someone show me how to set this up (i.e., create a local coordinate system and assign it as the material orientation so that k_x, k_y are rotated by a given angle)? I need zoom meeting to teach me
