• Principle Purpose of Job
• The Housekeeping Manager promotes DTR service standards, serving as a role model for Housekeeping staff as well as maintaining the integrity of the Ranch and Housekeeping operations, policies and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• · Oversee and manage the Housekeeping Department for Guest Rooms and Common Areas at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.
• · Responsible for the training, scheduling, supervising, rewarding, motivating and counseling of housekeeping staff according to DTR standards.
• · Define and implement cleaning standards and schedules.
• · Perform in the capacity of any of the positions he/she supervises on an as needed basis.
• · Track and maintain labor expenditure and productivity within budget guidelines.
• · Resolve guest and employee complaints promptly.
• · Responsible for weekly schedule of staff.
• · Ensure flow of communication within and between departments.
• · Maintain supply of materials, equipment needed for housekeeping.
• · Designate and maintain relationships with vendors.
• · Report any incident which appears suspicious or could endanger the security of the Resort.
• · Ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• · Benchmark best practices of other competitors.
• · Continually create, develop & enhance policies/procedures/processes in housekeeping department.
• Requirements
• · Three years housekeeping supervisory experience preferred, high school diploma required.
• · Valid Driver's License & clean driving record required.
• · Property management software experience preferred.
• · Must be computer literate and able to learn new systems when needed.
• · Microsoft office software experience required.
• · Experience serving as a positive role model by behaving in a professional manner and by adhering to all policies and procedures.
• · Must be physically able to perform the same job duties as each of staff members.

Compensation Description

• $65,000 - $75,000/year Competitive pay commensurate with education and experience.

• Due to the nature of our 24-hour operation, there is no guaranteed work schedule. Managers will try to accommodate specific schedule requests, but they are never guaranteed if business volume prohibits.
