- Principle Purpose of Job
 - The Housekeeping Manager promotes DTR service standards, serving as a role model for Housekeeping staff as well as maintaining the integrity of the Ranch and Housekeeping operations, policies and standards.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- · Oversee and manage the Housekeeping Department for Guest Rooms and Common Areas at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.
 - · Responsible for the training, scheduling, supervising, rewarding, motivating and counseling of housekeeping staff according to DTR standards.
 - · Define and implement cleaning standards and schedules.
 - · Perform in the capacity of any of the positions he/she supervises on an as needed basis.
 - · Track and maintain labor expenditure and productivity within budget guidelines.
 - · Resolve guest and employee complaints promptly.
 - · Responsible for weekly schedule of staff.
 - · Ensure flow of communication within and between departments.
 - · Maintain supply of materials, equipment needed for housekeeping.
 - · Designate and maintain relationships with vendors.
 - · Report any incident which appears suspicious or could endanger the security of the Resort.
 - · Ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
 - · Benchmark best practices of other competitors.
 - · Continually create, develop & enhance policies/procedures/processes in housekeeping department.
 - Requirements
 - · Three years housekeeping supervisory experience preferred, high school diploma required.
 - · Valid Driver's License & clean driving record required.
 - · Property management software experience preferred.
 - · Must be computer literate and able to learn new systems when needed.
 - · Microsoft office software experience required.
 - · Experience serving as a positive role model by behaving in a professional manner and by adhering to all policies and procedures.
 - · Must be physically able to perform the same job duties as each of staff members.
 
Compensation Description
- $65,000 - $75,000/year Competitive pay commensurate with education and experience.

- Due to the nature of our 24-hour operation, there is no guaranteed work schedule. Managers will try to accommodate specific schedule requests, but they are never guaranteed if business volume prohibits.
