- Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- - Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing guests and staff to the appropriate departments or individuals
- - Manage the hotel’s main switchboard, ensuring efficient call routing and message delivery
- - Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to guests and callers
- - Handle guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and a positive attitude
- - Maintain accurate records of messages, calls, and other communications
- - Assist with administrative tasks related to communication and guest services as needed
- - Ensure the switchboard area remains organized, clean, and well-maintained
Skills and Qualifications
- - Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- - Strong customer service orientation and professionalism
- - Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- - Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems preferred
- - Previous experience in a customer service or switchboard operator role is a plus
- - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- - Attention to detail and organizational skills
