- About the Role
- The Home+ Program Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to the Home+ case management and coordination teams across Harlem and Jamaica, Queens. Home+ is a critical initiative in partnership with the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence (ENDGBV), designed to reduce housing instability by providing survivors of DV/GBV with flexible funding, security resources, trauma-informed case management, and access to community-based support.
- This position will work between both Harlem and Queens locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and fidelity to the Home+ model, while uplifting anti-oppressive, survivor-centered, and healing-centered practices.
- What You’ll Do
- · Supervise Home+ Coordinators and Case Managers across Harlem and Queens boroughs.
- · Provide reflective supervision, coaching, and support rooted in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive frameworks.
- · Lead weekly team meetings, case conferences, and ensure staff are equipped with the tools and resources needed to provide high-quality, survivor-centered care.
- · Support staff with crisis intervention, ethical decision-making, and cross-systems advocacy.
- · Cultivate a team culture that values healing, accountability, racial equity, and restorative practice.
- Program Oversight & Coordination
- · Ensure effective implementation of Home+ services including intakes, risk assessments, safety planning, housing stabilization, and referrals.
- · Oversee quality and timely disbursement of flexible funds, in coordination with Home+ Coordinators, vendors, and finance teams.
- · Monitor caseloads, ensure adherence to city-mandated targets (e.g., minimum 100 clients annually per borough), and review client files for compliance.
- · Partner with Home+ Coordinators to resolve vendor-related service issues and troubleshoot operational concerns.
- · Ensure adherence to confidentiality protocols and all local, state, and federal laws including VAWA and HIPAA.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
- · Ensure timely and accurate documentation, data entry, and reporting across borough sites.
- · Collaborate with the Senior Director and Director of Compliance to monitor program outcomes, fidelity to the Home+ model, and support corrective action plans as needed.
- · Review and approve client service plans, flexible funding usage, and case management notes to ensure best practices are followed.
- Community Partnerships & Representation
- · Strengthen and maintain borough-specific community partnerships (e.g., DV shelters, hospitals, grassroots orgs, NYPD DV officers, FJCs).
- · Represent Rising Ground and the Home+ program at borough-based coalition meetings, community events, and ENDGBV convenings.
- · Promote access to Home+ services for marginalized populations (immigrants, LGBTQ+ survivors, justice-involved individuals, those with limited English proficiency).
- Your Qualifications
- · Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in social work, public administration, or related field preferred.
- · Minimum of 5 years of experience working with survivors of DV/GBV, crime, or trauma.
- · At least 2 years of supervisory experience, including staff coaching, performance management, and trauma-informed leadership.
- · Deep understanding of intersectionality, systems of oppression, and their impact on survivor experiences.
- · Familiarity with NYC housing resources, emergency financial assistance programs, and DV/GBV support systems.
- · Excellent organizational, crisis management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- · Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole strongly preferred.
- · Must be able to travel regularly between Harlem and Jamaica, Queens, with flexibility in schedule to accommodate team needs.

- Supervisory Responsibility
- Yes, oversees Home+ Coordinators and Case Managers.
Work Environment
- Hybrid model with regular presence required at both Harlem and Queens sites. Some travel to other NYC boroughs may be required for community events or city meetings.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- · Full-time position (35 hours/week).
- · Standard hours Monday–Friday, with occasional evening or weekend flexibility to support staff and community needs.

- · Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) for at least 3 days or more per week.
