I’m looking for someone who can handle material takeoffs for residential new-build projects on a per-plan basis. When I send you a set of house plans, I need you to: What You’ll Do • Review the full floor plans & elevations • Calculate accurate material quantities for: • Framing lumber • Concrete / block (if applicable) • Roofing & shingles • Drywall • Exterior/interior finishes (basic counts: doors, windows, etc.) • Provide a clean organized breakdown in a spreadsheet • Be reliable with clear communication and realistic turnaround times Who You Need To Be • Experienced in residential takeoffs • Can read and understand architectural drawings • Detail-oriented with math accuracy • Able to work independently and ask questions only when needed • Goal: Make my life easier, not add more work Payment • Per-project / per-plan pricing • Paid quickly after each completed takeoff • Ongoing projects for the right person How We’ll Work You get a new house plan → You send back a material list → I use it to get pricing and manage jobs → We move on to the next one.
