• Heavy construction equipment dealer in Salem, OR, seeking experienced heavy equipment diesel technicians for field service. We are a small family-owned, non-union company with a big-company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Service customer equipment in the shop or at the customer’s jobsite
• Capable of completing jobs at or under the manufacturer’s published flat rate repair times
• Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player
• Job Type: Full-time

• Salary: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

• Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment
• Equipment dealership background ideal
• Must be able to lift 75# unassisted
• Welding experience
• Hydraulic & electrical experience
• Mid-level diagnostic ability
• Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions
• Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears
• Engine certifications a plus
• Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal
• Possess a clean and valid Class B driver’s license, recent K4 printout required
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
