The Head of People & Culture Partnering is a leadership role, managing a team of experienced People & Culture (P&C) Partners to deliver impactful people strategies aligned with business milestones and objectives. The role is accountable for curating and executing the organisation-wide People Plan, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement. The role also oversees the Talent Management and Performance centre of excellence and is accountable for driving a performance culture across AWE. As part of your role, you will also: Lead the end-to-end talent management strategy, including succession planning, capability building, and performance frameworks to drive a high-performance culture. Build trusted relationships with executive and senior leaders to co-create people solutions that reflect business challenges and customer needs. Provide guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, and change management, while influencing cultural transformation and embedding inclusive, high-performing behaviours. Who are we looking for? We are seeking an experienced senior HR leader with a strong track record in complex, matrixed organisations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in leading high-performing HR business partnering teams and possess deep expertise in organisational development, change management, and talent strategy. You should bring strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to influence at executive level and balance headcount budgets and strategic workforce planning requirements with business needs. A data-driven mindset is essential, with the ability to translate insights into actionable solutions that drive performance and long-term value. We do need you to have the following: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field or relevant experience. Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following: Stakeholder Management, ability to build trust and credibility across technical and operational stakeholders. Strategic thinking, ability to navigate complexity, structure ambiguous problems, and develop long-term workforce strategies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present to executive boards. Ability to write executive and board level strategies and presentations. You’ll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
