About SecureSplit: SecureSplit is a legal fintech startup building tools for divorce and family law. We help attorneys, mediators, and financial professionals run accurate support and property division calculations, and give consumers guided tools to get financially organized during divorce. We are seeking a part time specialist to help us find and win non dilutive funding so we can accelerate product development and pilot programs. **Scope and deliverables** You will: * Research relevant grants and non dilutive funding for a for profit legal and fintech startup * Build and maintain a simple grant tracker with links, deadlines, eligibility, and status * Prioritize the best fit opportunities based on our stage, focus, and geography * Draft and customize applications, including narratives and simple budgets, using our existing deck and financials * Prepare a small library of reusable content (company overview, impact narrative, founder bio, etc.) * Submit one to three high priority applications in the first month, depending on complexity and timelines Initial four week goals: * A tracker with at least 20 to 30 relevant opportunities, ranked by priority * Core reusable content drafted and approved * At least five complete, on time applications submitted **Skills and experience required** Please apply only if you have most of the following: * Proven experience researching and writing successful grants for startups or small businesses * Comfortable working with for profit, tech, or SaaS companies * Strong written English and ability to turn rough notes into clear, persuasive content * Careful attention to eligibility rules, forms, and deadlines * Solid self organization and use of simple tools like Google Docs and Sheets Nice to have: * Background in legal tech, fintech, access to justice, or social impact * Familiarity with state or regional innovation programs and startup competitions **Communication and working style** * Remote, part time, freelance role * Work directly with the founder * Asynchronous first: we prefer clear written updates over frequent calls * Weekly written status update with progress, next steps, and any blockers * We value clarity, reliability, and honest communication over perfection We will provide product overview, pitch deck, financial projections, impact story, and a shared folder for all materials. **How to apply** In your proposal, please include: 1.
