We are a marketplace platform with our front-end site built on WordPress with Elementor, and we already have Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Hyros (for ad attribution), Hotjar, and Zapier integrations in place. However, we need an experienced freelancer to configure and optimize GTM and GA4 to provide deeper insights into user behavior, acquisition, conversions, and organic traffic. This is a focused project to start small with key reports and tracking, with potential for expansion. Our primary goal is to track and analyze the acqusition and customer journey for businesses, emphasizing conversions like applications and booked calls. The main funnel is: 1. Users visit the website. 2. They submit an application 3. If qualified (Marketing Qualified Lead - MQL), they are redirected to a Calendly scheduling page to book a demo call, then to a thank you page. If not qualified, redirected to a secondary network. We use Hyros for ad tracking, so GA4 will complement this by providing website-specific insights. We want to set up custom events, triggers, and tags in GTM to send data to GA4, enabling reports on: - Most Visited Pages: Identify top pages by views, users, and engagement. Calculate conversion rates for each (e.g., % of homepage visitors who submit an application, become an MQL, or book a call). - User Journeys: Map common paths users take before conversions (e.g., from blog posts to application or booking). Use GA4's path explorations or funnels to show sequences leading to applications, MQLs, and booked calls. - Blog Post Contributions: Determine which blog posts drive the most conversions. Track views and attribute them to downstream events. - CTA Button Clicks: Monitor clicks on specific buttons, especially on blog posts. E.g. using unique IDs/classes in Elementor for precise tracking, and tie clicks to specific posts and conversions. - Organic Traffic Insights: Analyze sources (e.g., Google Search, Bing, direct, social like Instagram/Facebook). Break down performance by conversions, including acquisition channels and their contribution. Please include in your proposal: -Relevant experience with similar GTM/GA4 projects. -A high-level plan for implementation. -Examples of past work (e.g., screenshots of GTM setups or GA reports). -Your availability.
