About

I have an existing model that i need reviewed and all formulas/cell audited and corrected. See brief below. I need this done asap. Ideally by EOD Sunday but EOD Monday latest. ---- Google Sheets + Apps Script Expert Brief Project: Audit & Fix a Marketing Investment Model (Google Sheets) Link to file: On freelancer selection 1) Objective Bring an existing marketing investment model to a production-ready state: fix all broken formulas and references, standardise currency/percent handling, and add lightweight Apps Script if required so the model is robust, auditable, and easy for non-experts to use. 2) Context Built initially with an assistant (Calude, using App Script in GoogleSheet); multiple formulas, named ranges, and cross-sheet references are misaligned. Some cells show incorrect symbols (e.g., “$” vs “#”), wrong formats (currency vs percent), and inconsistent decimal places. The model powers quarterly/annual planning, pipeline targets, and channel/program allocations. 3) Scope of Work A. Audit & Diagnostics - Map all tabs, named ranges, and key drivers. - Flag any logic gaps (e.g., totals not reconciling, pipeline multiple mismatch, brand vs pipeline splits not aggregating). B. Formula & Reference Fixes - Correct all broken references (#REF!, #N/A, #VALUE!). - Standardise absolute/relative references; remove hard-coded values where inputs should be parameterised. - Replace any volatile/fragile constructs with stable alternatives (e.g., avoid INDIRECT where possible; prefer INDEX/MATCH/XLOOKUP). - Align currency/percent/date formats across the workbook - Ensure totals reconcile across tabs (Inputs → Drivers → Calculations → Outputs/Dashboard). - Validate rollups by quarter/year; check that S-curve/front-load/back-load ramps sum to 100%. C. Data & UX Hygiene - Apply data validation to all input fields - Colour-coding convention: - Light blue = user inputs - Grey = lookups/selectors - White = calculated - Locked/protected = formulas only - Unify naming: tabs, headers, and named ranges use a consistent schema. - Freeze panes, consistent thousand separators, and 2-decimal currency precision. 4) Deliverables - Cleaned workbook with all fixes, protections, and consistent formatting. 5) Success Criteria (Acceptance) - 0 broken references or formula errors across all visible tabs. - Inputs clearly separated and validated; all calculations locked. - Dashboard totals reconcile to underlying calculations within 0.1%. - Scenario toggle updates all dependent outputs correctly. 10) Practical Notes - Primary currency: USD ($). - Please preserve the existing tab structure - Propose changes if they materially improve clarity/performance.
