📌 Job Description: GoHighLevel (GHL) Automation Expert About Us Integral Business Services is a business support and financial services company that helps small business owners transition from self-employed to fully operating businesses. We use GoHighLevel as our core CRM for automations, email/SMS marketing, pipelines, client onboarding, and subscription management. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, proactive GHL Automation Expert to help us scale our backend systems. ⭐ Position: GoHighLevel Automation Expert (Remote, International Hire Preferred) Type: Part-time or project-based (with potential for long-term / full-time) Location: Remote (Outside the U.S. preferred) 🔧 Role Overview We are seeking a skilled GoHighLevel Automation Expert who can build, optimize, and maintain complex automations across our business. This person will work closely with leadership to bring automation ideas to life, improve efficiency, streamline client experience, and make sure our backend systems operate with consistency and accuracy. Your primary responsibility is ensuring our workflows run smoothly—from onboarding, subscriptions, and pipelines to email/SMS sequences, tagging systems, and multi-step conditional logic. 🧠 Responsibilities 1. Build Advanced Automations Create multi-step workflows using conditions, filters, and triggers. Build workflows that include branching paths (if/else logic). Set up multi-channel sequences (email + SMS). Automate onboarding, follow-ups, client nurturing, renewal reminders, and upsells. 2. Manage Subscription-Based Automations Ensure subscription tags trigger correctly on payment. Automate start/stop sequences when subscriptions activate or go inactive. Monitor and troubleshoot subscription automations to avoid errors. Build automations that check the subscription status monthly. 3. Maintain Data Accuracy Automate adding/updating client information across the CRM. Tag clients automatically based on behavior/service purchased. Create systems for lead segmentation and stage progression. Audit client profiles for accuracy and consistency. 4. Monthly Outreach & Retention Sequences Build automated monthly check-ins for clients via SMS + email. Set up retention workflows and renewal reminders. Create reactivation sequences for paused/canceled clients. 5. System Maintenance & QA Test every automation before going live. Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements. Maintain a clean and organized backend (naming structure, tags, folders). Troubleshoot workflow failures or CRM issues. 6. Project Collaboration Work directly with leadership on new system ideas. Take concept → turn it into a working automation. Provide recommendations on better ways to structure workflows. Help integrate GHL with Typeform, Stripe, ClickUp, ActiveCampaign (if needed). 📌 Required Skills & Experience 2+ years experience with GoHighLevel (required). Proven ability to build complex workflows with conditions, filters, and branching. Strong understanding of: Pipelines & CRM structure Email + SMS marketing Webhooks (bonus) Integrations Calendars & appointment workflows Subscription management Experience with automation testing & QA. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and provide proactive solutions. 🌎 Preferred (Not Required) Experience working with U.S.-based service businesses. Familiar with Typeform → GHL automations. Experience with Stripe subscriptions + GHL payment triggers. Experience with ClickUp or project management tools.
