Despite therapeutic advances in lung cancer, there remains significant unmet patient need. Each year, there are ~2.7 million new lung cancer cases globally. The lung cancer therapies market is expected to grow from $45B in 2025 to $70B in 2030 globally. Core to Pfizer’s lung cancer strategy is realizing the potential of our first-in-class antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), namely our potential first-in-class integrin-Beta-6 (IB6)-targeting ADC, sigvotatug vedotin (SV). >90% of NSCLC tumors express integrin Beta-6. The first commercial launch of SV in lung cancer, specifically 2L+ NSCLC, is being planned for 1H 2027; followed by 1L NSCLC PD-L1 TPS >50% in 2H 2028. SV is also being studied in 1L NSCLC (any PD-L1 TPS). The Global Commercial Lead role provides an excellent opportunity to lead a team of global marketing colleagues focused on driving SV’s global commercial potential and addressing the significant unmet needs of lung cancer patients. In Global Marketing, we translate science into value for patients. Our remit is to own the strategic direction across the asset lifecycle, ensure long-term value creation and preservation, and drive brand consistency across markets and efficiencies in execution. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Marketing Franchise Lead for Hematology, Thoracic and Gastrointestinal, and will have both direct and matrix leadership. Key focus will be to drive commercial thought leadership on SV brand strategy and launch strategy to ensure a successful global launch in 2L+ NSCLC and 1L NSCLC. The role requires demonstrated experience in global marketing, launch excellence, commercial strategy and market development; as well as importantly, people management experience. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Own SV global launch strategy for 2L+ NSCLC and 1L NSCLC, inclusive of brand positioning and messaging, market development, customer specific strategies, and country launch sequence. Represent Global Commercial voice and point of view on SV Global Product Team (GPT) and partner closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Global Access & Value, Global Medical Affairs to ensure key opportunities and risks in the clinical development plan meet the target product profile. Develop SV global commercial companion diagnostic (CDx) strategy and ensure CDx launch readiness (depending on whether SV requires a CDx) Partner with CSI to drive thought leadership on lifecycle commercial potential, including key risk/opportunity identification that factors competitive landscape dynamics, to ensure value creation for the mid-to-long term horizon Collaborate effectively with R&D, Regulatory, Global Access & Value, Global Medical Affairs, Customer Analytics & Insights, Finance, PGS, US, and International. Deliver Global Guidance for OP/LRF forecast assumptions Lead SV Global Governance Team (GGT) and align brand strategies and deliver core promotional resources and tactics to US and International Commercial Office. Partner with Global Access Strategy & Pricing and International Commercial Office on global pricing approval decisions and country access strategies that optimize and preserve value of lifecycle. Develop detailed, strategic commercialization roadmaps and plans to ensure launch readiness and appropriate planning assessments by partnering closely with CMO Launch Excellence team. Ensure proactive translation of key competitive intelligence insights into action; and prepare senior leadership communications when appropriate. Collaborate with PGS on global supply and demand planning, as well as packaging decisions Engage, coach and develop others through creation of a high-performance culture focused on Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy. Conduct all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies and SOPs, Pfizer Values & global regulatory guidelines, and requests consultation when navigating uncertain situations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
