General Laborer - Furnace Helper - $16.92/hour

Commercial Employees is hiring a General Laborer - Furnace Helper position for a Pittsburgh (Swissvale) glass manufacturer. Starting pay of $16.92 per hour, that is paid weekly and benefits including health, vision, dental and life insurance. Train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd or 3rd shift.

General Laborer - Furnace Helper Requirements & Duties:

• Shovel powdered product into furnace
• Furnace helpers are not required to mix product
• Pull melted glass from furnace to cut & shape
• Move product to Lehr belt for cooling
• Shifts: 7am-3:30pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to perform repetitive work
• Strong manual dexterity required
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lb
