Project Overview: [ PLEASE FULLY READ THE REQUISITION TO UNDERSTAND THE REQUEST BEFORE APPLYING ] We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced web developer to design and build a user-friendly, secure, and scalable MVP web platform that connects individuals for items delivery. The platform will facilitate peer-to-peer delivery by enabling two types of users: Service requester: Individuals who wants there items delivered Service Provider: Individuals who are willing to deliver these items The system will match senders with eligible Deliver, manage secure payments, allow for image uploads, delivery details… and handle payouts to travelers upon confirmation of successful delivery. Key Features & Requirements USER FUNCTIONALITY: User dashboards to manage delivery requests Form to create delivery requests (with file/image upload) Form to submit delivery availability (with destination & date info) Matching mechanism to connect service requester with service provider Secure payment, internal messaging or notification system KEY PLATFORM FEATURES: User registration and login (Service Provider & Service Requester) Dashboard for each user role Secure delivery request (with image/file upload) for the sender Secure delivery form for the Deliver Backend matching logic / mechanism to connect Service Provider with Service Requester(rule-based automated matching) Admin dashboard to manage users, listings, matches, and transactions PAYMENT & TRANSACTION MANAGEMENT: Integrated payment gateway (e.g. Stripe) for Service requester to pay for delivery Escrow-style system to hold funds from service providers until delivery is confirmed Automated payout upon delivery verification ADMIN DASHBOARD: User management and verification tools Oversight of transactions, disputes, and payout processing Analytics and reporting TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT: Fully responsive design (desktop, tablet, mobile) Scalable backend and database infrastructure Secure data handling PREFERRED TECH STACK: We are open to recommendations but prefer modern, scalable technologies. Skills shown below are examples of tech stack that can be used. As an expert, make your proposal. Full-stack web development (React or Next.js + Node.js, etc...) Stripe integration (Connect, Payment Intents, Escrow-style logic, etc...) REST API or GraphQL development, etc... PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase for backend database Authentication and user login security Deploying MVPs using platforms like Vercel, Heroku, Render, Firebase, or AWS, etc... TIMELINE & BUDGET Estimated timeline: This will be further discussed to agree on reasonable deadline PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this project, please include the following in your proposal: 1. Examples of similar marketplace or peer-to-peer platforms you’ve developed 2. Estimated development timeline of the platform alongside your fixed cost ADDITIONAL NOTES: Long-term collaboration is possible if the MVP is successful.
