We are creating a digital platform that bridges the gap between independent producers and their local communities through a marketplace that merges online tools with on-the-ground access. The system will allow producers to set up stalls, list products, and accept payments while giving customers an easy way to browse, filter, and interact with stalls via maps, QR codes, and POS systems. This is a ground-up build of an MVP that will serve as the foundation for a scalable platform. The Role We’re seeking a highly capable Full-Stack Developer to lead the technical execution of this MVP. You will be responsible for architecting and building the platform, integrating POS systems (Toast and Clover), and ensuring a seamless experience for both producers and customers. Responsibilities Build and deploy the MVP platform using Medusa.js, Supabase, and Vercel. Develop user workflows for: Producers to create/manage stalls and upload products. Customers to browse stalls via map/directory with product filtering. QR code interactions for on-site discovery and checkout. Payment processing and subscription management. Implement subscription tiers for producers (Basic, Pro, Business). Integrate Toast and Clover POS systems for real-time sales sync and checkout. Implement authentication, user management, and secure data handling with Supabase. Build a mobile-friendly, performant frontend (Next.js/React preferred). Create reliable APIs to support future growth of the platform. Deploy and optimize on Vercel with CI/CD workflows. Collaborate closely with the founding team on feature rollout and refinements. Qualifications Strong full-stack experience with Medusa.js (headless commerce). Proficiency in React/Next.js for modern frontend development. Hands-on experience with Supabase (auth, DB, API). Proven experience integrating Toast and Clover POS systems. Strong understanding of marketplace or e-commerce architecture. Familiarity with QR code workflows and map/directory UIs. Skilled in deploying and scaling apps on Vercel. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment.
