We are a non-profit fighting for a democratic future against the oligarchs, elites, and corrupt politicians who seek to enslave us. We need your help on a vital mission to stop the rise of authoritarianism in the United States and abroad. Project Summary: * The frontend for this project is about 40% complete, with good code quality, in React (NextJs), TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. * We have fully built designs in Figma designs for several pages. We are working on the design of additional pages. We will proceed page by page as long as we are happy with your code quality and productivity. * Many components have been built by volunteers. They need to be assembled into responsive pages for desktop and mobile. * We are using OpenAPI which generates a SDK to load data from the backend. The app will implement SSR. Familiarity with SpringBoot / backend is nice to have, but not required. Mostly you will just need to implement the SDK to pull data from the backend. * We work on a private Github using discrete issues and Pull Requests with code review. Ideal Candidate: * Someone who puts quality first (no hacky or brittle solutions). * Creative problem solver - someone who can be creative to deliver high-value for cost. * UX focused - attention to details that deliver the best user experience (graceful handling of error conditions, frictionless UI, etc) About Me: I have 15+ years tech experience and have worked as a contractor on Upwork. I have also hired many contractors. You don't need to worry about unreasonable demands or shifting requirements with me.
