• We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team as a Freight Unloader. This position involves unloading freight and ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• - Unload freight from delivery trucks and containers
• - Sort and organize items for storage or distribution
• - Ensure all items are handled safely to prevent damage
• - Maintain a clean and organized work area
• - Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
• - Collaborate with team members to meet daily unloading goals

Skills and Qualifications

• - Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
• - Experience on pallet jack, forklift and clamp machines is preferred.
• - Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
• - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• - Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• - Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Hours

• Monday-Friday 2am- finish (approx 10am), alternating Sundays.

Compensation

• - Hourly while training and then to piecework pay structure based on the volume of freight unloaded

• Requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Should have pallet jack and forklift experience.
• Must have transportation to work and be available for the shift.
