Description: Looking for an experienced estimator to produce accurate framing lumber takeoffs from provided plans/blueprints (PDF/DWG). Takeoffs will be used to order materials. Responsibilities: - Review plans/specs and produce detailed lumber takeoffs (studs, plates, joists, rafters/trusses, headers, blocking, etc.). - Provide counts, board feet, linear feet, lumber sizes, grades, and suggested ordering units. - Include waste/overage allowances and note assumptions. - Flag unclear items needing clarification. - Deliver editable spreadsheet and a summary PDF. Optional: cut/load suggestions.
