I’m looking for an experienced footwear pattern-maker who can develop a factory-ready pattern package for a luxury men’s trainer. The shoe will be produced in small batches through multiple ateliers (Mexico/Portugal/Brazil), so the pattern must be accurate, detailed, and factory-agnostic. The silhouette is a clean, premium low-top trainer with: • Full-grain bison leather upper • Simple, unstructured profile • Subtle paneling inspired by luxury sneakers (LV, Scuffers-level quality) • A clean artisanal feel that aligns with my brand: West of Sunday • Cemented construction with cupsole What I need from you: • Full upper and lining patterns • Seam allowances included • Reinforcement templates (toe puff, heel counter) • Strobel/insole board template • Pattern drafted to my specific last (US Men’s 11) • Tech sheet labeling all panels, materials, grain direction, stitching • Files delivered in AI, DXF, and print-ready PDF (1:1 scale) • Clean, organized, production-ready files I can send to my sourcing agent and multiple ateliers You Must Have: • Proven footwear pattern-making experience (send examples) • Ability to draft patterns directly from a last • Strong understanding of leather thickness, skiving, folded edges, and reinforcement construction • Experience with trainers, cupsoles, or luxury leather sneakers Deliverables: • Complete pattern package (upper, lining, reinforcement, components) • Last measurement alignment • Final files: AI/EPS, DXF, PDF • Pattern ready for cutting, sampling, and small-batch production Budget: Open to reasonable quotes based on experience.
