- Support the Football Technology & Data department with football data projects, mainly the collection and delivery of football data at FIFA tournaments.
- Coordinate FIFA’s Football Data ecosystem, organising and leading the various meetings and communications channels with football data providers, consumers and other stakeholders.
- Manage football data collection projects aimed at delivering data in FIFA tournaments and maintain the project requirements and delivery plans on Azure DevOps.
- Draft high-level delivery reports on the advancement of projects, risks and decisions.
- Maintain the Football Data Catalog describing the football data offering (pdf and altan).
- Support existing and new stakeholders in their own implementations of football data projects.
- Collaborate with Football Data Operations to organise relevant testing sessions and validate implementations before tournament delivery.
- Facilitate collaboration within the Football Data team, documenting meetings and centralising resources.
- Support tournament operations when required, including monitoring live and post-match football data delivery and troubleshooting any issue that arises.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- 3-5 years of experience in as project manager or product manager in technology or data projects, ideally in the sports industry
- Experience in the football industry is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in any other FIFA language (French, Spanish, German, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian) is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS, Planner)
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tool
- Experience with Snowflake or Powerbi is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or similar higher education in business administration or project management
- Strong cooperative and communication skills
- Excellent redactional skills
- Rigorous, collaborative, and innovation-driven
- Good understanding of the football game as a football consumer (TV viewer, sports digital platforms, in-stadium experience)
- Fondness for data and technology in sports
- Availability to work up to 20 days per month
- Working hours on Western European time, and readiness to work outside standard business hours (e.g. evenings, weekends), typically to monitor football matches
- Readiness to work almost exclusively remotely
- Compensation based on a day rate
