  • You will serve on a team whose job is to help Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort engage with all guests who visit the General Store. You will contribute to the success of the Resort by ensuring that the General Store customers have a satisfactory dining experience.
  • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Prepare and cook food items according to daily menu, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Measure and weigh ingredients accurately for various recipes.
  • Cook and prepare a variety of food items, including meats, poultry, vegetables, and desserts, based on customer orders or supervisor instructions.
  • Operate manual and electric appliances for food preparation, cleaning, and cutting tasks.
  • Serve food efficiently and courteously at the Palmetto Dunes General Store hot foods counter, packaging items for immediate serving or takeout.
  • Maintain fully stocked serving stations and replenish food items as needed.
  • Engage with customers professionally, addressing orders, feedback, and concerns.
  • Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and sanitizing cooking and serving equipment.
  • Manage waste removal and maintain cleanliness and organization in service and kitchen areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and report equipment malfunctions or low stock to supervisors.
  • Ensure proper food storage to prevent spoilage and ensure food safety by taking and recording temperatures of food storage areas.
  • Transport food supplies, utensils, and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Organize and maintain cupboards, refrigerators, and other storage areas.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
