- Shifts: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | 3:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Reporting To: Restaurant Manager & Assistant Restaurant Managers
Position Overview
- The Front of House Support Team Member plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth, polished, and welcoming dining experience at Powder Mountain’s exclusive Skylodge Restaurant. In this hands-on position, you’ll support servers and bartenders by bussing tables, refreshing drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting guests during both full-service and fast-casual dining. You’ll be the extra set of reliable, proactive hands that keeps the entire operation running seamlessly — all while bringing a spirit of Unreasonable Hospitality to everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Support & Service
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating as needed.
- Offer water and drink refills, clear plates, and reset tables efficiently.
- Support servers and bartenders during busy service periods.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure a clean, comfortable dining environment.
- Maintain discretion and professionalism with all private clientele.
- Restaurant Operations
- Keep service areas, dining rooms, and workstations clean and organized at all times.
- Restock glassware, linens, and supplies as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and event setup/breakdown.
- Collaborate closely with the entire FOH and BOH teams to deliver seamless service.
- Cleanliness & Safety
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and cleaning protocols.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene in dining and service areas.
- Support the restaurant’s sustainability and cleanliness goals.
Requirements and/or Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- Required: Utah Food Handler’s Permit and Sips & Tips Certification
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help across departments
- Reliable transportation (mountain driving or public transit capable)
Physical Requirements- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to
- Full range of body movements
- Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (40+lbs)
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
- Climb/descend stairs/ladders
- Safely handle hazardous materials
Working Environment
- Primarily working outdoors in sunny conditions at 8,000+ ft elevation
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexible hours based on operational needs.
