Fleet Warranty Administrator Responsibilities

  • Accurately files all fleet and warranty claims for each unit - completed daily.
  • Assist all dealership personnel and field staff in resolution of fleet and warranty related claim issues.
  • Audit and analyze warranty claim data to ensure that the warranty claims adhere to service policies and procedures requirements.
  • Audit and analyze fleet claim data to ensure that the fleet claim adhere to fleet program guidelines.
  • Responsible for workorders for fleet and warranty throughout the workorder process.
  • With direction from the Manager, acts as a liaison for all warranty department functions with respect to all fleet and warranty claim authorization and payment functions.
  • Communicate with fleet representatives and warranty vendors.
  • File fleet and warranty department documents.
  • Assist as needed with any other service department function to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain working knowledge of products, fleet/warranty claims and resources.
  • Reconcile all fleet/warranty receivables and work with the accounting department to obtain payments
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Requirements

Fleet Warranty Administrator Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of college and/or minimum of 3 years of warranty experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and have computer proficiency
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
  • Team player who works productively with a wide range of personalities
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
  • Able to work independently with some direction
  • Effective listening and good phone skills
  • Strong problem solving/analytical abilities
  • Strong commitment to quality customer service
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a small team setting
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Capable of effectively managing multiple issues and prioritizing them
  • Understand and apply service policy and procedures
  • Any repair/maintenance service industry knowledge is a definite plus
