Compensation Information

• $18.00 - $20.00 / hour
• $250 sign-on bonus
• $250 retention bonus after 90 days of employment

• Job Description
• Here at CURTIS PPE Care in Dublin, CA, where we're on the lookout for a motivated, dependable, and energetic person to join our team in the role of cleaning, assessing, and delivering equipment to our firefighter first responders.

• This dynamic role combines two key areas: 1) hands-on processing and inspecting of lifesaving PPE equipment—complete with data entry, shipping, and receiving duties—and 2) driving our company vehicles for important pick-ups and deliveries that keep firefighters and emergency teams mission-ready.

• Please note: this is a physically active position that requires standing for extended periods—up to 8 hours a day. If you're someone who is able to be on your feet and being part of a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you!

• Here's What You’ll Be Doing
• Data entry related to element information, order entry, work performed, customer information, and shipping details.
• Learn NFPA 1851 and/or other industry standards and how they relate to our processes and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Operate hardware, tools, cleaning, and testing equipment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and perform accurate data entry.
• Sort, organize, inspect and launder personal protective ensemble elements.
• Participates in material inventory counts.
• Assist with facility cleaning.

• What You’ll Bring
• Must Have / Must Have Skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) in a data entry capacity.
• Capable of lifting and handling elements that can weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read, type, write and comprehend English.
• Valid, unexpired driver's license and driving record that meets requirements of our insurance provider.
• Must Have Soft Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate with customers, coworkers, and leadership.
• The ability to read, write and understand English.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible.
• Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail.
• Team oriented and respectful.
• Nice to Have
• Experience with shipping and receiving.
• Experience with inspection and laundering of clothing.
• Pattern reading.
