What you'll be doing

  • Install fire sprinkler systems including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Perform work in compliance with applicable fire codes, building codes, and OSHA standards
  • Use trade-specific tools and equipment to safely complete installations
  • Regional travel may be required; overnight stays possible
  • Work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexibility as required

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of fire and building codes; OSHA required (MSHA a plus)
  • Basic computer and software skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours or on-call when necessary
  • Ability to pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screen

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, or stoop for prolonged periods
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs
  • Ability to move about in areas with limited space and difficult access
  • Ability to safely lift, transport, and place objects up to 70 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to use trade-specific power tools such as hand tools, saws, and pipe cutters
