Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Fire Alarm & Security Technician with 5+ years of experience.
In this role, you will
- · Operate a fully stocked service truck to perform on-site tasks.
- · Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire alarm and suppression systems.
- · Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
- · Utilize modern diagnostic tools and maintain digital service logs.
- · Uphold industry standards and applicable fire and safety codes.
- Starting Pay: $35–$45 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).

Responsibilities
- · Perform comprehensive installations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, sprinklers, emergency lighting, extinguishers, and suppression systems.
- · Diagnose system malfunctions using electronic tools and troubleshooting methods.
- · Operate and manage a fully equipped service truck, ensuring tools and inventory are maintained.
- · Provide timely emergency response when required—on-call support outside Mon–Fri schedule.
- · Keep accurate digital records of service performed (logs, inspection reports, ticketing).
- · Maintain certifications and stay current on fire safety codes, NFPA standards, and industry best practices.

Hours & On-Call Expectations
- · Regular Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (on-site service).
- · 24/7 Emergency Availability: While weekends typically off, role requires on-call readiness for emergencies to uphold the company’s continuous service promise.

- Requirements
- · Minimum 5 years of experience as a fire alarm, suppression, or security technician.
- · Must be tech-savvy, comfortable with mobile diagnostics, digital reporting, and electronic documentation.
- · NICET certification required.
- · Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a service truck.
- · Strong working knowledge of codes, regulations, and NFPA standards.
- · Excellent communication skills with clients, coworkers, and office staff.
- · Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure—especially during emergencies.
