  • THE ROLE
  • Chetola Resort is seeking a disciplined, visionary, and service-obsessed Restaurant Manager to lead Timberlake’s Restaurant. This is not simply a supervisory role—it is a chance to raise the bar of excellence and set the gold standard for dining in the High Country.
  • The Restaurant Manager will oversee all front-of-house operations and partner closely with the Executive Chef and resort leadership team. This leader will set, communicate, and enforce service standards; build and sustain a culture of accountability and pride; and create a guest experience that is as precise as it is warm. With two Assistant Restaurant Managers as direct partners, the Restaurant Manager will ensure every shift, every table, and every detail reflects the polish and professionalism of a luxury resort.
  • WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Standards of Excellence & Guest Experience
  • Establish, implement, and uphold the highest service standards across the restaurant, bar, and patio dining areas
  • Lead by example—consistently demonstrating flawless service execution, refined presentation, and professional guest engagement
  • Train, coach, and require staff to maintain consistency in the details that define guest experience—from perfectly set tables to polished glassware and aligned chairs
  • Inspect dining rooms and outdoor dining area continuously to ensure standards are not only met but exceeded
  • Culture, Leadership & Accountability
  • Build and nurture a culture rooted in pride, teamwork, and professionalism
  • Inspire, motivate, and recognize staff while holding each team member accountable to expectations
  • Partner with Assistant Restaurant Managers to deliver consistent coaching, enforce discipline where necessary, and reward excellence
  • Champion communication, creating a workplace where staff feel both supported and challenged to grow
  • Operational Leadership
  • Oversee daily operations with precision, including scheduling, floor management, and shift readiness
  • Ensure accurate POS usage, cash handling, and financial reporting
  • Manage inventory and vendor relationships to maintain a well-stocked, organized, and efficient front-of-house
  • Lead the execution of private dining and holiday events with the same attention to detail as à la carte service
  • Collaboration & Financial Stewardship
  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless service, strong communication, and aligned priorities
  • Monitor and manage labor and cost controls, balancing efficiency with service excellence
  • Collaborate on menu development, wine and beverage programs, and seasonal promotions
  • Ensure compliance with all ABC laws, health codes, and safety standards
  • Requirements
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN ACTION
