About
We are looking for a Financial Modeling Assistant with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills to support the creation and updating of marketing budget models. You will work within an existing, well-defined framework and follow clear SOPs to input data, update formulas, validate assumptions, and prepare clean output files for client review. This is not a strategic marketing role — this is an execution-focused position for someone who is highly detail-oriented, fast, accurate, and comfortable working with financial and marketing datasets. Each week, the model inputs and data will be shared on Monday or Tuesday, and a 24-hour turnaround is required. You must be able to receive the files, complete the updates, perform QA checks, and return clean deliverables within that window without fail. Responsibilities Update and maintain marketing budget models using Excel/Google Sheets. Enter new inputs (provided Monday/Tuesday) and return updates within 24 hours. Clean and normalize raw data (lead flow, spend, conversions, historical performance, etc.). Validate assumptions and flag inconsistencies immediately. Produce clean output sheets, charts, and summaries for client deliverables. Follow strict SOPs and never alter protected logic or structure. Perform thorough QA checks to ensure accuracy and completeness. Requirements Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, arrays, pivots, nested formulas). Strong financial modeling background. Experience working with marketing, operational, or budget datasets. Very high attention to detail — accuracy is non-negotiable. Ability to follow structured workflows and SOPs without improvisation. Strong data validation and problem-solving skills. Consistent 24-hour turnaround capability on Monday/Tuesday assignments. Clear, reliable communication. Who This Role Is NOT For Anyone who cannot meet a strict 24-hour turnaround on Monday/Tuesday. Anyone who wants to redesign or rebuild the model rather than follow instructions. Anyone who gets sloppy with numbers or formatting. Anyone who can’t deliver consistent, high-accuracy work under time constraints. Workload & Engagement Part-time, project-based with potential for ongoing weekly work. Weekly Monday/Tuesday assignments with a required 24-hour completion window. Must be comfortable working with large datasets and multiple model versions.
