  • As a Field Marketer with Expo Home Improvement, your focus is to connect with homeowners in local neighborhoods and offer them a free, no-obligation estimate with one of our Direct Sellers, for their next home improvement project. You’ll represent Expo with professionalism and enthusiasm, helping homeowners take the first step toward improving their homes. Once you prove proficient in the Field Marketer role, you can transition to the Field Sales role.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Door-to-Door Outreach: Knock on doors in assigned neighborhoods to offer homeowners an appointment for a free estimate for windows, doors, baths, showers and kitchens.
  • Lead Generation: Gather homeowner information for those interested in scheduling a free estimate.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Set appointments for our scheduling team to follow up and confirm the homeowner’s free estimate.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other field marketers and field marketing leadership to achieve daily and weekly goals.
  • Career Pathways: With proven performance you will also generate leads from shows, events & retail activations.
  • Requirements
  • Strong Communication: Friendly, confident, and professional when speaking with homeowners.
  • Resilience: Able to handle rejection and stay positive and motivated.
  • Dependability: Consistent attendance and strong work ethics are key to success.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Training & Support
  • Comprehensive Training: Paid, hands-on training to help you feel confident offering free estimates.
  • Ongoing Coaching: Continued support and development to help you grow and succeed.

Previous Experience

  • No previous experience necessary. We provide full training! Experience in canvassing, restoration sales, in home sales or customer service is a plus but not required. Positive attitude, good communication skills, and reliability are key.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Must have a valid driver's license with valid Texas auto insurance.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (e.g., event materials, signage).
  • Comfortable with prolonged periods of speaking and engaging with the public.
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations within a workday (retail sites, events, canvassing areas).
  • Must be able to stop, reach, and bend occasionally when setting up booths or materials.
  • Must be able to report to and work from different assigned locations, which may vary day to day based on business needs.
