- A Field and Safety Training Manager develops, implements, and oversees safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment, particularly within field operations. This role requires a deep understanding of safety regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and procedures, including those related to general safety and specific vehicle-related hazards, ensuring they align with relevant regulations and company policies. Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety procedures, hazard identification, accident prevention, and emergency response.Foster a positive safety culture by educating employees on safe work practices and encouraging proactive hazard reporting. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety regulations, industry best practices, and emerging safety technologies. Maintain accurate training records, track employee progress, and ensure compliance with training requirements. Work closely with the safety department, field management, supervisors, and employees to identify training needs, address safety concerns, and implement effective solutions. Create and update safety training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources. Represent the company and participate in safety-related meetings.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONProven experience in safety management, preferably in a field-based environment. Strong understanding of safety regulations, such as OSHA, and industry best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. A bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in our industry may be required or preferred.
