• A Field and Safety Training Manager develops, implements, and oversees safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment, particularly within field operations. This role requires a deep understanding of safety regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.  RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and procedures, including those related to general safety and specific vehicle-related hazards, ensuring they align with relevant regulations and company policies. Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety procedures, hazard identification, accident prevention, and emergency response.Foster a positive safety culture by educating employees on safe work practices and encouraging proactive hazard reporting. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety regulations, industry best practices, and emerging safety technologies. Maintain accurate training records, track employee progress, and ensure compliance with training requirements. Work closely with the safety department, field management, supervisors, and employees to identify training needs, address safety concerns, and implement effective solutions. Create and update safety training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources. Represent the company and participate in safety-related meetings.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONProven experience in safety management, preferably in a field-based environment. Strong understanding of safety regulations, such as OSHA, and industry best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. A bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in our industry may be required or preferred.  WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSEmployee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following:Regular Hours of operation are M-F, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.Primarily sedentary or working at a deskOccasionally lift and move 10 -25 poundsWhile performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hearProficient literacyThe employee frequently is required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and armsAdditional InformationWHAT YOU WILL LOVE/PERKS401(k) with company matchBenefits eligible the 1st of the month following hireCareer GrowthPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysAll traditional benefits are offered, including 3 medical plan options and 2 dental plan options, as well as additional benefits such as legal and identity protection, accident, critical illness, and othersCompany paid $50,000 in basic life insuranceCompany paid long term disability (LTD)Health Savings and Flex Spending Accounts AvailableAWP named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 and 2025 for DiversitySalary:    based on experience  All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.AWP Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
