  • About the Role
  • As an HVAC Installer, you’ll play a key role in completing Multi-family, new construction projects, installing systems that ensure comfort and performance for future residents. You’ll work closely with site supervisors, builders, and other trade teams to deliver high-quality, efficient installations that meet our company’s and our clients’ standards.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Install air handlers, flex duct, and ceiling registers across multi-unit construction sites
  • Assemble, install, and repair HVAC piping, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications
  • Interpret blueprints and follow layouts to ensure proper system placement and performance
  • Coordinate with project leads to maintain timelines and quality standards
  • Safely work from ladders (6’ and above) in a fast-paced, active construction environment
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and represent Charlotte Mechanical with professionalism
  • What We’re Looking For
  • We’re searching for an HVAC professional who understands the rhythm of large-scale new construction projects and takes pride in efficiency and teamwork.

  • Have proven experience in new construction HVAC installation, preferably in multi-family projects
  • Be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Adapt easily to changing site conditions, deadlines, and project needs
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude on every job site
  • Physical Requirements
  • Regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Work safely on ladders and elevated platforms
  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and humidity
