Part-Time • Potential Long-Term We are looking for a highly skilled developer who is proficient in development and rapid bug fixing—preferably using modern AI-assisted coding tools such as Windsurf, Cursor, Claude Sonnet, or similar. About Us We operate a large-scale loyalty and marketing platform used by thousands of small businesses (restaurants, car washes, golf courses, salons, etc.). Our stack is: PHP/MySQL/JavaScript Various integrations (email, SMS, webhooks, etc.) We have an urgent need to fix several critical bugs and add a few simple AI-powered features to the product. You will collaborate closely with our in-house engineer. Required Skills Deep debugging skills; able to dig through complex legacy PHP/JS codebases Ability to use AI coding tools (Windsurf / Claude Sonnet / Cursor / GitHub Copilot) for rapid development Experience building simple AI features (e.g., text generation, recommendations, automation workflows) Excellent understanding of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript Fluent in English (written and spoken) Comfortable working with MS Teams Availability Requirements Must be available between 11 AM – 4 PM PST for collaboration Can start within 1–2 days Part-time engagement (hours vary; no guaranteed weekly minimum) If the fit is strong, this can become a long-term relationship Responsibilities Fix urgent, high-impact bugs in our loyalty platform Improve code stability and performance Add small AI-powered functions (prompts, automation logic, recommendations, etc.) Collaborate with our engineer on debugging and code reviews Ensure fast turnaround and clean, maintainable code Ideal Candidate Thrive in fast-paced, high-priority debugging environments Comfortable working with legacy code and modernizing it using AI support Reliable, fast, strong communicator, and detail-oriented How to Apply Please include: A brief summary of AI tools you use in development Examples of PWA projects you’ve built Your experience fixing complex bugs in large PHP/MySQL applications Your availability (confirming 11am–4pm PST) When you can start
