Your next career opportunity As the Executive Support Officer in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Arts, you'll provide crucial support to the Faculty Executive Director and Associate Deans. This role offers you the opportunity to develop high-level administrative skills, contribute to the faculty's success, and work closely with senior academic leadership. You'll gain invaluable experience in university operations, stakeholder management, and executive-level support in a dynamic academic environment. Your responsibilities will include: Provide Executive Support: Manage diaries, correspondence, and act as a key interface for the Faculty Executive Director and Associate Deans with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate Committees and Events: Undertake Executive Officer duties for committees, including organising meetings, preparing documentation and taking minutes, as well as assisting with event management. Manage Administrative Processes: Oversee travel arrangements, room bookings, and assist with academic performance reviews and recruitment practices. Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, maintain effective record-keeping systems, and provide training to team members. You may be a great fit if: You are a highly organised and discreet professional with excellent communication skills, capable of providing high-quality executive support and managing sensitive information in a fast-paced academic environment. You may also: Have experience in providing executive-level support in a complex organisation. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Have proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with administrative systems. Show initiative in identifying and implementing process improvements. Be committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to university policies and procedures.
