- As the Executive Director, your primary responsibility is delivering the Tenfold lifestyle to our residents every day. You will need to cultivate a fully engaged lifestyle, both intellectually and physically, as well as spiritually. You will also need to build an authentic community through belonging and contribution and provide support that enables autonomy in all its dimensions.
Other primary responsibilities include
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community, to maintain a consistent level of quality care, services and innovative programming and to integrate the Tenfold mission into the community's environment
- Direct and supervise every facet of the community by hiring, managing, scheduling and mentoring compassionate and competent team leaders (i.e., department managers)
- Participate in and support the marketing efforts and move-in processes
- Develop operational and capital budgets, and consistently manage the community to those budgets
- Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical and governmental documents and direct the operations of the community accordingly
- Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies on all matters related to all resident care and safety
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with California Dept of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division, including Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) and other licensing staff, and ensure timely investigation, reporting and response to all incidents
- Effectively and efficiently present information and respond to questions from equity partners, lenders, managers, residents, families, the public and other stakeholders
- Requirements
Team Leader Position
- This position manages all of the team leaders (i.e., department manager) and more than half of the individual’s actual time will be devoted to supervising more than two other team members on a regular basis. The individual is responsible for exercising discretion and judgment, with authority to make decisions on matters relating to resident care. The responsibilities of this position require that the individual remain accessible and on-call to address emergent issue related to resident care and will be required to periodically work evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred
- 5-7 years of experience leading a team of managers
- Experience interacting with and deeply relating to seniors
- Maintain a valid and current California RCFE Administrator Certificate
- Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
