  • A full-time Executive Assistant to work as part of the Office of the President and CGCC Foundation.The EA reports jointly to the CGCC President and the Executive Director of Advancement. The EA works closely with the President, the Board, the Foundation staff and board, President’s Council, and other College staff to provide information and services to the college’s internal and external stakeholders.

  • Columbia Gorge Community College serves a diverse region in north-central Oregon and south-central Washington. CGCC acknowledges we are on the homelands of the Confederated Tribe of the Yakama Nation and neighboring tribes as well as the 14 bands along the Inchi I’wana (Columbia River).   • What you will do…

The Executive Assistant (EA) position is responsible for administratively supporting the Office of the President. Duties will include

  • Assisting the President in local, statewide, and national activities
  • Providing administrative and clerical support to the College President, CGCC Board of Education (Board), and the CGCC Foundation Board of Directors
  • Supporting the administrative needs of the Office of Advancement, including tasks associated with nonprofit management; donor contact for outreach, engagement, and fundraising; public-facing and internal event support
  • Requirements
  • What you bring….
  • Post Secondary: Minimum of Associates Degree required.
  • Job Specific Training: Skilled using Microsoft Office and Google Suite products. Proficient with website updates/management is desirable though not required.
  • Job Related Experience: Experience in a post-secondary education or nonprofit setting in a clerical, administrative, or public-facing role is preferred.
  • Specific Experience: Three or more years of providing confidential administrative support. The EA must have demonstrated proficiency in handling matters of a highly confidential nature. Experience working with a governing board is preferred.
  • The Executive Assistant must excel in a professional, fast-paced, dynamic work environment and possess leadership and management skills. This position also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal/external management and staff. The Assistant must also be able to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse internal and external communities.
