- About the Role
- The Executive Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dark Horse Comics, LLC. This role is responsible for managing business communications, scheduling, travel coordination, and project support to ensure the CEO’s office functions efficiently and effectively. A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and organization is essential.
- What You’ll Do
- Manage daily business operations for the CEO, including scheduling, correspondence, calendar management, and meeting coordination.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications directed to the CEO, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Screen and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and correspondence; determine appropriate routing or follow-up actions.
- Coordinate domestic and international business travel, including logistics, itineraries, and expense reconciliation.
- Support meeting preparation by organizing materials, creating presentations, and taking detailed meeting notes as needed.
- Maintain organized and confidential filing systems for both physical and digital records.
- Draft, edit, and proofread professional correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate with Dark Horse Entertainment and other business partners on company-related scheduling and initiatives.
- Manage and track key projects, ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met.
- Maintain awareness of company priorities to proactively anticipate the CEO’s scheduling and informational needs.
- Ensure all administrative practices align with company policies and contribute to overall efficiency and compliance.
- Provide administrative support for executive-level events, offsites, and board meetings.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Provide back-up coverage for the reception desk as needed.
- Support additional executive or administrative projects as assigned.

- Requirements
- What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience providing executive-level administrative support in a corporate environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing business priorities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Desired Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Experience in entertainment, publishing, or creative industries is a plus.
- Prior experience coordinating complex business travel arrangements and managing executive calendars.
