- WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday: 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm (occasionally earlier than 8:00 pm depending on appointment schedules)

- JOB SUMMARY
- The Evening Receptionist is a key member of the administrative team primarily responsible for the professional and efficient management of front desk operations. This position requires a broad understanding of Leg Up Farm’s overall operations and the specific programs and services being offered. Exceptional computer skills, the ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and a warm, welcoming, friendly nature are critical success factors.
- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- FRONT DESK OPERATIONS
- Answer incoming calls and greet visitors and clients to Leg Up Farm in a friendly, professional, courteous manner.
- Notify service providers of cancelled appointments at the earliest possible opportunity,
- Reschedule canceled and/or missed client appointments.
- Promptly respond to general inquiries and requests for service in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Check clients in and out upon entrance and departure of Leg Up Farm and collect applicable co-payments for scheduled appointments utilizing Leg Up Farm’s web-based computer application.
- Maintain knowledge of building occupants and staff whereabouts for the efficient handling of incoming calls, system pages, and emergency evacuations.
- Conduct daily inventory of swipe cards to maintain building security.
- Close the facility in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ensure company assets are secured before leaving the front desk unattended.
- Perform scanning and faxing duties.
- Maintain provider schedules.
- Maintain patient forms.
- Requirements
- Required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Completion of New Staff Orientation Trainings
- Mandated Reporting and Child Abuse Training
- Current State Child Abuse History Clearance
- Current State Police Record Check
- Current Federal Criminal History Background Check (FBI Fingerprinting)
- Compliance with Drug Testing & Satisfactory Drug Testing Results
- Valid PA Driver’s License; Proof of Automobile Registration and Required Insurance
- Knowledge of Leg Up Farm Therapy Program policies and procedures
- Knowledge of client’s right to privacy and protection and HIPAA guidelines
- Intermediate Computer Literacy Skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and emails
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication, including telephone etiquette
- Highly detail-oriented, able to work independently, multi-task, enjoy interfacing with other staff at all
- levels
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of
- the business community.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and proprietary business
- practices

- Preferred
- Associate degree or higher from specialized business or trade school in human services-related field
- Three to six months front office experience
- Outpatient healthcare clinic experience
- First Aid & CPR/AED Certification
- Knowledge of general medical terminology and healthcare benefits
- Knowledge of outpatient medical insurance and billing
- Bilingual
