I’m looking for an experienced Etsy Listing Template Designer to create clean, airy, high-converting listing templates that follow Etsy best practices. This is NOT a brand design —When I say listing templates, I mean the layout frameworks, design structure, typography, spacing, background elements, and brand accents that the product mockups will be dropped into. These are NOT the product mockups themselves — only the design system the mockups will live inside. Please apply ONLY if you have prior experience designing Etsy listing templates (not just general Canva graphics). We will start with one shop, and if it’s a good fit, I have several more shops that will each need their own template sets for every product type - so this is a long-term project for the right designer. What You’ll Create ____________________________________________ - You’ll design for one product for one shop, an 20-30 page product listing template per product per shop - we will start with one (Note: manyof these pages are just 'variations' or backgrounds, see below) - This will NOT include actual 'product mockups' now. Just the overall 'templates' the mockups will live in. These listing templates pages will include things like: - Cover image template with the right badges and callouts that will live over the mockup image to help CTR - Choose Your Design pages: that will have layout variations for 2 to 8 products to showcase on the 'choose your' design page - Product Detail/feature page - “How to Order / Personalization Instructions” page - Customer review showcase - “Why Buy From Us” / quality icons - Instruction Page Templates (ie. shipping, deadlines, what we can't customize, other options/info) - Bulk Buy/Discount Page - Thank you page - Request Review Page - "go to our shop to see our other products/designs' page - A few 'background' templates that can be used efficiently for png mockups (not ai flat lays), like gradients or other 'background' types of - Multiple layout variations for the same page type, so the shop can mix-and-match (not identical pages repeated) You are not creating mockups right now — only the layout designs, frames, typography, spacing, and subtle branded elements that make the template look polished and professional. Aesthetic Requirements ________________________________________ Must be able to design in: - Clean, airy, Lux, polished, modern Etsy best-seller style - Soft shadows, light neutrals, tasteful accents - Structured and CONSISTENT layouts that look premium but easy to edit - NO AI-generated or noisy design elements, no childish/cartoon feels - a set and limited # of fonts across the template pack - Create or source small brand-specific elements (textures, lines, accents, icons) that enhance the Etsy aesthetic without overpowering it. - Your design work should feel unique to each shop, but still unmistakably aligned with the clean, airy visual language of successful Etsy listings. ie. making the listing images brand specific, unique, modern, sleek and aligned with each shop's brand voice - but on top of and within the ETSY AESTHETIC.... - Seasonal colors for ornaments - Soft boho or neutral styles for wedding/evergreen shops with a LUX feel - 3D tech feel for a tech shop, that still has an elevated fun feel - man vibes for 'fathers' day shop ect Technical Requirements ________________________________________ You must be: - Highly proficient in Canva for final editable templates - Comfortable creating supporting elements in Photoshop - Able to deliver all source files: PSDs (for any Photoshop elements you create) and a single organized Canva file containing all template pages. - Familiar with Etsy’s recommended image formats & aspect ratios - Capable of clean, consistent layout work - We design in a 4000w x 3000h px page, and the cover image has the smaller 2400w x 3000 h area that is seen on mobiles in the Etsy feed and all 'badges/callout's must fit within this area - all images created/used must be high resolution - WE DO NOT WANT A BUNCH OF AI IMAGES/ELEMENTS What to Include in Your Application: ________________________________________ - Examples of Etsy listing templates you’ve designed (if you want to create a screenshare video walking me through some of your work that is idea) - Links or walk-through of any Etsy shops you’ve worked with - Confirmation you can deliver both Canva templates & PSDs - Your proposed rate for the custom 10 page template set - I prefer to work on fixed/milestone rates - Your expected turnaround time for V1 - The number of revision rounds you typically accept - A brief note about your preferred design aesthetic, and how you view and design into the overall 'Etsy Aesthetic" (this is one of the questions to answer at the time of application) - Your personal definition of what a “listing template” is, and what you believe the purpose of listing templates should be. - Include the term "etsy aesthetic" in the first sentence of your cover letter to be considered Ongoing Work - If the first set is a success, you’ll be hired for: - Additional template sets for multiple Etsy shops - Seasonal versions - Updates and refinements as product lines grow This is long-term for the right designer.
