What we can offer you: Access to our people’s pension scheme Free physiotherapy service Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing: Operate the plant according to schedule and maintain discharge water quality per permit specifications Collect and analyse samples per work instructions; adjust flows and chemical dosing based on results Calibrate instrumentation and troubleshoot plant issues with team support Manage chemical storage, handling, and usage safely and economically Maintain accurate data collection, reporting, and order consumable replacements Perform housekeeping and grounds maintenance Report abnormal events to management per company procedures Conduct and assist with COSHH/risk assessments and safety/environmental audits Issue permits and supervise contractors/staff as needed Liaise with clients, authorities, agencies, contractors, and consultants Comply with all health, safety, and statutory regulations Provide standby cover and work flexibly to meet operational demands What we're looking for: Experience operating water treatment plants or chemical processes Proficient with SCADA systems, standard software (Google/Microsoft), and PDA devices Knowledge of Risk & Assurance principles (Risk Assessments, COSHH, PPE, Lone Working, Environmental awareness) Competent in production monitoring, instrumentation calibration/validation, and energy management Strong administrative skills (logs, records, work orders, stock management) Familiarity with Quality Management Systems First-line maintenance capabilities (cleaning, greasing, calibration, condition monitoring) Able to work independently and prioritise tasks, including alarm response and interpretation What’s next?
