This is a full-time (40 hours per week) with State Benefits for a limited time. Although the length of time this position will be active cannot be determined, it has the potential to extend up to 3 years (36 months). If you have questions concerning the time-limited status of this position, you may inquire at the interview. * **This position requires a valid NC Driver’s License.** The position supports the development and implementation of the HEAR and HOMES Programs, supporting the planning, implementation, and management of the program, ensuring it meets environmental goals and regulatory requirements. This position will be responsible for the oversight of program activities conducted by both the implementer and the certified contractors, including site visits to ensure that homes have been properly assessed, work has been properly completed, and savings properly estimated and achieved ; and reporting on that oversight to entities within the program and to the funding body, as well as working to resolve any identified errors or problems. Other Key Responsibilities: Accurately running calculations, models and other estimates of energy savings and pollution reduction calculations. Provide programmatic oversight and support of key work activities such as ensuring documentation meets program requirements and savings are properly estimated. Serve as the subject matter expert for the program. Monitor, track, and report program impacts, performance and outcomes. Collect and analyze data on program participation, energy savings, and environmental impact. Master's degree in one of the agricultural, biological, engineering, environmental or natural resource sciences or a closely related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
