- Anctil Heating and Cooling is seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone just beginning their career in HVAC with a focus on learning, growth, and developing technical skills. You’ll assist in the routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients under the guidance of experienced technicians.

- Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Assist with regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
- Support in Repairs: Assist senior technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing minor repairs on HVAC systems, such as replacing filters, belts, and minor electrical components.
- Basic System Checks: Learn to conduct basic system and performance checks to identify any operational issues.
- Equipment Cleaning: Clean HVAC components and equipment, ensuring that systems remain in good working order.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate courteously with clients, addressing any questions and providing basic information on system operation.
- Documentation: Accurately record service activities, parts used, and system condition reports for each maintenance visit.
- Tool and Workspace Maintenance: Ensure that tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained and organized for efficient service.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in company-provided training to expand technical knowledge and gain additional HVAC certifications.
- Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC technical training or certification is a plus.
- Experience: Entry-level position, ideally suited for individuals with little to no previous HVAC experience.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Have you always liked to work with your hands? Do you like to learn how things work? You might have what it takes!
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License: Required for traveling to job sites.
