Position Title: Enrollment Services Specialist Department: Outreach & Enrollment Department (Marisol Guzman Position Type: Staff Job Family: Specialist Job Summary: The Enrollment Services Specialist supports Adult Education, ESL, HSD, and related programs by providing intake, admissions, testing, enrollment, and post-testing services. Under the direction of the Enrollment and Testing Manager, this role assists students through the enrollment process, administers standardized assessments, and ensures accurate data entry in institutional and state systems. *Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding. Posting Date: 12/22/2025 Expected Start Date: 02/09/2026 Compensation Grade: B23 Full-Time/Part-Time: Full time Location: Grayslake Campus Total Hours Per Week: 40 Job Description: Project and Process Management: 50% Provide admissions, intake, enrollment, and testing services for Adult Education and ESL students. Proctor pre- and post-testing in accordance with ICCB, CASAS, and program guidelines. Administer electronic assessments (eTests) for on-campus and community testing events. Enter and maintain student data and test scores in DAISI, PeopleSoft, and TOPSpro. Organize and maintain testing materials, records, and files. Coordinate with Data Operations to ensure accurate student and testing records. Participate in planning and review of testing events and enrollment services. Collaborate with faculty, Student Success Team, Outreach & Recruitment, and other student service units. Assist with onboarding and training of Enrollment & Testing Center staff as needed. Provide guidance and support to Enrollment Services Assistants. Participate in required ICCB, CASAS, and program trainings. Student/Customer Service: 45% Respond to student, faculty, staff, and community inquiries via phone, email, and in person. Assist students with CLC applications, intake forms, and enrollment documents. Enroll students during priority and regular registration periods. Communicate Adult Education/ESL testing and registration processes clearly to students and staff. Other: 5% Travel to community sites. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with four (4) years of relevant work experience; OR Associate degree with two (2) years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with one (1) year of experience. Proficiency using technology such as tablets, laptops, and desktops. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications. Experience working with diverse populations and commitment to equity and inclusion. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience using student information systems and reporting databases. Experience working in standardized testing environments. Community college experience. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Work Schedule & Conditions Monday through Thursday, 12pm to 8:30pm and Fridays 8am to 4:30pm Occasional Saturdays, 8:30am to 2pm are required. Flexibility to adjust work schedule during peak time testing and registration season. Work is conducted across multiple campuses and community sites as assigned.
