Responsibilities/Requirements
- Assist in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Support design and implementation of tools, fixtures, or process layouts.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action plans for manufacturing issues.
- Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
- Help develop standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and engineering.
- Perform time studies and process documentation as needed.
Requirements
Education/Qualification
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience working in a related field.
- Key Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CAD or SolidWorks is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts is a bonus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
- The hourly pay rate for this position is $27 - $30.
