  • Job Summary
  • The Gunnison Valley – Home Energy Assessment Team (GV-HEAT) works at the intersection of health and economic equity and environmental justice to implement community led solutions for a clean economy and environment. The Energy Programs Director is responsible for oversight of the GV-HEAT program to improve energy efficiency of residential buildings in the Gunnison Valley, while building equity, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving health and safety within the community. The Energy Program Director is responsible for the strategic planning, growth, fiduciary oversight, and daily operations of GV-HEAT, including working collaboratively with community members, partners, and the GVRHA team. The program will be led in accordance with the policies and procedures established by its programs, and in compliance with grant requirements from funding sources.
  • Pay Rate
  • The salary range is from $6,183.93 to $7,040.57, depending on experience, plus full benefits.

  • Requirements
  • *Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • *Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 200 within the first year of employment.
  • Qualifications/Education
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in energy efficiency, electrification, construction, energy coaching, building science, property management, environmental sustainability or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in environmental management, sustainability, building science, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications from BPI, RESNET, ASHRAE, or ICC equivalent.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both verbal and written, is a plus.
