Location: Holloman AFB, NM - Alamogordo, NM Canvas provides engineering services and technical solutions for customers in federal and commercial markets. Duties: This position is to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Develop and manage new construction projects, improve existing infrastructure, write statements of work, develop independent government estimates, perform surveillance over contractors, and program UMMC ($4M-9M) and MILCON ($9M+) projects. Support a perpetual 3- to 5-year strategic Financial Plan to execute a $2.5B FY26-31 funding surge, District Plan projects, and $300M/$1.5B Test Track projects with 30+ new facilities. Manage interior electric, exterior electric, transformers, ground stations, transmission lines, and other repairs for 280 facilities. Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field, preferably electrical. *Experience may be substituted for education with customer approval. 1 - 2 years of relevant experience. Must be familiar with facility infrastructure needs of a DoD Installation, be able to learn and adapt quickly, be knowledgeable of building codes applicable to DoD facilities, possess excellent communication skills, adhere tightly to established schedules, be familiar with MILCON requirements, and be able to work independently and as a member of a team. Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Desired Experience: BS in Electrical Engineering. 3-5 years of experience, a portion of which involved work at an AF Installation (knowledge of test facilities a plus); familiarity with DoD construction practices and, in particular, MILCON projects is highly desirable. Other Essential Job Functions: Must be willing to travel up to 5%. Candidate may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
